I usually have this as lunch, for a change on my days off occasionally. More during winter than summer.

I add freshly ground black pepper, and a few drops of tobasco. I am next tempted to put in the zes5 of a lemon rind;

Guess you know by know that I have not got a real tooth, guess I could cut back on the Philly? Might even try that as well.

Thanks for this great variation Have a similar recipe we’ve used for about 10 years now. Use diced ham steaks instead of bacon & a tin each of creamed corn & corn kernels with the sour cream & philly cheese. Heat in the oven & watch it get devoured.

Casey, just had to let you know, made this the other day for my bbq, what can i say, devine, wonderful, delicious, very yummy, fantastic, the only problem, the guests all loved it and not much for me, this part was not good lol. thanks heaps for the recipe its the best i have ever had
